Pai Camellia and Rose Cleanser Reviews

Review of Pai Camellia & Rose Cleanser

By T Gunson

Packaging The Pai Camellia & Rose Cleanser comes in a small white plastic pot, with a screw top lid which gives you easy access to the cream. The packaging has the recycle symbol on it.

Application When I first used this Pai Camellia & Rose Cleanser, I thought the cream was going to be thick and hard to work with, but in fact it was the other way round. I found it easy and quick to use and quickly became part of my daily routine. The cream was white in colour and felt soft to touch and easy to clean off.

Ingredients They use some organically grown products which you can smell when you use the cream, which I love because I know I’m not putting any man made chemicals on skin. The ingredients were put on the outer packaging in English.

Result After using the Pai Camellia & Rose Cleanser on my face it felt soft, clean and moisturized. When I wash my face in the morning, I always need to put moisturizer on after but with this product I didn’t feel the need to do that. After a month of using this, my face was baby soft and looked healthy. I will definitely buy this product and use it again.

Pros: Leaves my face feeling soft and moisturised

  • Smells fresh and summer like without being over the top
  • Uses natural/organic ingredients which you can smell
  • Easy to open and close pot

Cons: It is a small pot and quite expensive for the size.

  • It was only a sample pot
  • After a few uses I found it started to go a yellow colour

Inika Mineral Eyeshadow Reviews

Review of Inika Mineral Eyeshadow
By Gillian L.

PACKAGING - Inika Mineral Eyeshadow comes in a small, plastic,
screw topped pot. The tub is clear on top and at the sides, so you
can easily see which shade you are using. The pot is enclosed in a
box and all materials are recyclable.

APPLICATION -All of the twenty shades of eyeshadow are multipurpose
and can be applied wet or dry and used as eyeshadow , highlighter ,
blusher and eyeliner ,depending on the shade. To apply the eyeshadow
dry it is best to use a brush (not supplied with tester ) -pick up a
little, tap off excess and apply as desired. It can also be mixed
with a little water ,but this I found messy and fiddly: It may be
easier with a sponge applicator.

INGREDIENTS - Inika Mineral Eyeshadow are made of 100% pure minerals and
are a fine blend of mica and iron ,tin and zinc oxides ,naturally
sourced from Australia. They are certified vegan, organic and cruelty
free and free from all toxic chemicals used in conventional make up.
The pigments are rich in beautiful colour -the coffee cream is a
sparkling medium brown shade.

RESULTS - I absolutely loved this Inika Mineral Eyeshadow! The shade is beautiful
,with just a hint of a sparkle. It lasted all day long with no need
to reapply and no irritation of my sensitive skin -I have previously
worn very little eye make up due to irritation and allergies to
chemicals ,so I will most definitely be stocking up on Inika products.
Used wet it would also be suitable for contact lens wearers. The
twenty shades offer a huge range, unlike other ranges of natural
cosmetics.

PROS - The pure, organic and cruelty free ingredients make it
suitable for the most sensitive of skins as well as those who want
ethically sound products.

- excellent range of shades ,some which are just gorgeous

- multipurpose and good value

CONS - The small tub made it tricky to apply and some powder was always lost.

- difficult to apply wet unless you have all the proper
make up tools -applicators, sponges

Essential Care Facial Wash Reviews

Review of Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash

By Sally S.

Packaging The Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash comes in a plastic tube encased in a box made of recycled & sustainably sourced card. The packaging is pretty uninspiring, simple white background and beige text.

Application The Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash is quite runny in texture and a little mottled. The tea tree and lemon oils give it a lovely clean smell which made it more inviting to use. The product lathered very gently as it was massaged into damp skin, for me I prefer the gentler washes as it usually reflects the purity of the ingredients and as a soil association approved product I felt confident of the ingredients. The texture was very pleasant and my skin quickly felt like it had been cleansed. The wash rinsed away quickly.

Ingredients The ingredients list for Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash is simple and stacked with a cleansing and soothing blend of tea tree, lemon and aloe vera. I was also pleased to see that the products are made in the UK and that it is a family run business, seeking to use organic and fair trade ingredients where possible.

Results After using the Essential Care Lemon & Tea Tree Facial Wash for a week my skin still felt comfortable and very clean. The product is aimed at normal to oily skin and it is suggested useful for those with acne, I can well imagine it would suit this skin type well as my combination skin appreciated its thorough cleansing.

Pros: Fresh, clean smell. Very unisex.

  • No nonsense kind of product.
  • Very thorough at removing make up.
  • Well priced and likely to last a long time.

Cons: Quite a runny consistency, easy to dispense too much

  • Very basic, uninspiring packaging.

A'kin Rosehip Oil Reviews

Review of A’kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil

By Nicky B.

Packaging A’kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil comes in a glass bottle with a dropper.

Application A’kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil is rich, smooth and golden (like sunlight in a bottle). It massages easily into your skin, sinking in without feeling sticky. You only need about 4 drops and then you put your usual moisturiser on top.

Ingredients A’kin Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil is just what it says on the bottle – 100% organic highly concentrated seed oil. I love the fact that its vegan and I know exactly what I’m putting on my skin is totally natural. It contains Vitamin A, Vitamin E and is also high in the omegas-3, 6 and 9! Being a vegetarian I know that a good balance of Omegas in the body is required for general good health so love the fact that I can put these on my skin too for added benefit!

Results From the first application it felt like I was giving my skin a real nourishing treat leaving it looking bright and vital. It gave my skin a real moisture boost and a gentle golden glow. I have a very sensitive skin and my skin loves this oil.

Pros: Vegan and cruelty free

Great for sensitive skins

100% organic

Lovely dropper bottle – easy to use without wasting any oil

Cons: None!
