Lavera Orange Shower Gel Reviews

Review of Lavera Orange Shower Gel
By Taryn G.

Packaging The Lavera orange feeling shower & bath gel comes in a orange and white plastic tube, with a screw top lid for easy dispense. It also comes in an outer cardboard rectangle box. Both the packaging has the recycle symbol on it.

Application When I first used the Lavera orange feeling shower gel, I thought the orange feeling shower gel was going to be hard to wash with, but in fact it was the other way round. I found it easy and quick to use because frothed up and became easy to apply with a poof/flannel, unlike some brands. It was also easy to wash off any excess orange feeling shower gel. The orange feeling shower gel is clear in colour and felt sticky to touch but when it came to applying the gel to my body it was smooth like silk and easy to use.

Ingredients They use some organically grown products and natural essential oils which you can smell when you use the shower and bath gel, which I love because I know I’m not putting any man made chemicals on skin. The ingredients were put on the outer packaging in English and German.

Result After using the Lavera orange feeling shower gel, my body felt soft and felt clean, while in the shower I could really smell the oranges, when I got out I could no longer smell it, which I like to have. I would buy and use it again.

Pros: Leaves my body feeling soft and refreshed
Smells of oranges without being over the top
Uses natural/organic ingredients
Suitable for vegans
Easy to apply

Cons:
The orange smell didn’t last as long as my normal body wash
The shower gel only lasted me one week

Review of Lavera Rose Hair Treatment

Review of Lavera Rose Milk Repairing Care Treatment
By Anisa B.

This Lavera Rose Milk Repairing Care Treatment comes in a 125ml plastic green tube but I received the product in a 10ml sachet that had enough product in it to write this review.

The texture of this Lavera Rose Milk Repairing Care Treatment is thick and creamy and smells of roses. The smell, however is not strong and does not feel overpowering as some products do. It is easy to apply and does not feel sticky or like a film and nor does it feel like oily. It feels more like a thick conditioner works easily into the hair.

Lavera says: Lavera Rose Milk Repairing Care Treatment provides intensive nourishing care to stressed and dry hair. Rose flower extract, macadamia and avocado oils provide nourishment while keratin builds and strengthens the hair.
The list of ingredients are: Water (Aqua), Alcohol*, Lauaryl Glucoside, Cetearyl Alcohol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Guar Hydroxypropyl Trimonium Chloride, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil*, Lecithin, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Macadamia Ternifolia Oil*, Squalene, Rosa Damascena Flower Water*, Prunus Persica (Peach) Extract*, Chitosan, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Xanthun Gum, Panthenol, Hydrogentaed Lecithin, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Fragrance (Parfum)**, Limonene**, Linalool**, Citronellol**, Geraniol**. * ingredients from certified organic agriculture ** natural essential oils

I’ve used this Lavera Rose Milk Repairing Care Treatment once a week for 3-4 weeks now, my hair is not particularly dry but is more normal and dry sometimes. I feel this product made my hair feel softer and tangle free but not more so than a regular conditioner. This is meant to be a treatment so, more effective, but I don’t feel it is. It did not do what I’d expect for a ‘treatment’ product unfortunately and I would only recommend it as a conditioner and not as a treatment product.

The pros of this Lavera Rose Milk Repairing Care Treatment are:
- Smells nice
- Affordable
- Good ingredients
- Hygienic packaging that is portable too

The cons are:
- Not different from a regular conditioner
