Pai Camellia Cleanser Reviews

Review of Pai Camellia and Rose Cleanser
By Zainab C.

Packaging The Pai Camellia and Rose Cleanser comes in a little pot which is beneficial as it is re-usable. The design is classic and modern with black writing over clear plastic and a white lid. The full size product is packaged similarly in that it is clean and modern. The full size product comes in a pump dispenser design.

Application The Pai Camellia and Rose Cleanser is a white cream with a gel like consistency. It has an interesting scent, which, although calming, may not be pleasant for some people. It was easy to apply and can be washed off with water. However, I found that it worked better, and cleaned deeper if it was removed using a damp muslin cloth.

Ingredients All of the ingredients in Pai Camellia and Rose Cleanser were natural with several essential and vegetable oils. This cleanser has luxurious, rich ingredients such as rose water, Shea butter and manuka oil.

Results The overall result was that my skin was left cleansed, refreshed and nourished. The cleanser got rid of any grime and dirt and added a nice glow to the skin. It did what a cleanser should do to a high standard.

Pros: Very natural, rich ingredients
This cleanser did not dry out skin whilst cleansing and removed make-up well
Leaves skin feeling nourished and thoroughly cleansed

Cons: The scent may not be to everyone’s taste
· The packaging could have been more eco-friendly
· This cleanser was very good and there isn’t anything else I can put in the ‘Cons’ section!

Pai Macadamia Skin Cream Reviews

Review of Pai Macademia and Rose Skin Cream

By Louise M.

Packaging The Pai Macademia and Rose Skin Cream is contained within a beautifully decorated little glass pump dispenser, it could certainly take pride of place on your dressing table. The pump is also a hygienic way to work your way through the product without repeatedly putting your fingers back into the same jar. In line with the company’s ethics the pump is recyclable and comes with minimum packaging to minimise the product’s environmental impact.

Application Pai Macademia and Rose Dry Skin Cream has one of the most velvety textures of any cream I have ever tried. It is rich and creamy without feeling like it is sitting on the surface of the skin and from experience that seems to be a difficult balance to strike! Beyond the texture of the cream, the scent is also striking. Like many other natural face creams it smells of a very pleasant mix of rose germanium and roses, beautiful on its own but the scent does last a while and I found I needed to avoid wearing perfume as well.

Ingredients I have incredibly dry and sensitive skin, especially on my face and I tolerated this cream without any adverse reactions at all. The macademia oil and shea butter had wonderful moisturising properties and I imagine that the rose water would make this cream an especially good choice for mature skins. The formula of Pai Macademia and Rose Skin Cream also contains borage oil which I have used previously on my eczema so from my own experience I would have no hesitation about the benefits of this cream’s plant-based ingredients. I was also gratified to find out that Pai does not use any chemical nasties in their products, nor do they do not test on animals.

Results I was very impressed with this Pai Macademia and Rose Skin Cream. It looked feminine, sleek and modern in the packaging, felt like velvet on the skin and managed to keep my very dry skin hydrated for several hours (which is no mean feat). The scent of rose geranium was pleasant although a little overpowering, but this would certainly not stop me from using the product again. I imagine that over time the moisturising benefits would soothe skin further, so it would be worth sticking with it over several weeks.

Pros: Looks good and rather expensive in the bottle

· Has a wonderful texture which strikes the right balance between feeling rich and absorbing easily

· Really did moisturise my skin

· Has a raft of natural ingredients which did not aggravate my sensitive skin

Cons: The scent may be a little overwhelming

Logona Natural Concealer Stick Reviews

Review of Logona Natural Concealer Stick

By Debbie S.

Packaging I was sent a Logona Natural Concealer Stick tester, so the only information provided was very little on the circular label underneath. Container was quite a tasteful metallic bronze/pewter coloured metal tube with clear plastic cap, which pulls off and it then twists up.

Application I could not smell anything with this Logona Natural Concealer Stick at all. It looks light enough in colour for fair skin, but it actually changes on skin contact and becomes a darker shade. I noticed straight away that it was greasy, and was so greasy that it was very difficult to apply. It was like trying to apply oil, so subsequently it does not cover well.

This product does not last long either and it can be removed easily by simply touching.

Results Oh dear…I would definitely not recommend Logona Natural Concealer Stick at all. It does not do anything that a cover stick should. If I had bought it, I would have returned it immediately. After using this for a while, I developed a couple of spots, which I think is purely because of the greasy formula. I definitely did not enjoy using this Logona cover stick.

Pros: None

Cons: Ingredients contain alcohol

· Shade on skin different to shade in tube · Greasy · Difficult to apply · Poor coverage · Does not last long · Too easily removed · Poor website information · Greasiness caused a couple of spots to form
