Pai Skincare Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream

Review of Pai Skincare Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream
By Jenny M.

My first reaction to the Pai Skincare Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream was positive. I liked the fact that it was called ‘sensitive skin cream’; it made me think it would soothe and feed my skin. However, I would have preferred it if the product had been in a pump or bottle dispenser, as oppose to a pot, as it is more hygienic.

A little of this luxurious Pai Skincare cream went a long way. It had a nice consistency that was not too thick which is unusual for a cream aimed at sensitive skin. It absorbed quickly and although there was a slight greasy residue at first, this dissipated after a minute to leave my skin nice and smooth.

During the time I was sampling the Pai Skincare Chamomile and Rosehip Skin Cream for sensitive skin I had a bad cold which left my skin dry and flaky, especially around my nose. This product relieved the dryness and helped to restore my skin. I do suffer with eczema around my nose but unfortunately the cream didn’t help to relieve this, although it didn’t irritate it either.

I wasn’t overly keen on the fragrance of this Pai Skincare product due to the strong chamomile scent but it wasn’t unpleasant and did fade shortly after application.
Although I was pleased with the overall performance of this product I wouldn’t buy it due to the scent.

Weleda Wild Rose Day Cream

Review of Weleda Wild Rose Day Cream

By Jennifer N.

Packaging

The Weleda Wild Rose Day Cream comes in a 30ml sealed tube that you have to pierce, which is excellent as this makes it tamper-proof. The packaging is cardboard, recyclable; the enclosed leaflet lists other product ranges to compliment this cream.

Application

The texture of the Weleda Rose Day Cream is light and easily absorbs into the skin without feeling greasy. My face felt smooth with no irritation and although it can become dry on my cheeks, I found this cream very hydrating.

Ingredients

This organic face cream is free from synthetic fragrances, colours, preservatives and mineral oils so is excellent. The ingredients are shown in Latin and English so you know exactly what they are. The inclusion of Rosehip Seed Oil (Rosa Moschata), helps to improve the skins elasticity and also helps to restore the moisture level of naturally dry or dehydrated skin.

Results

After using the Weleda Wild Rose Face Cream, I haven’t experienced any dryness. It is reasonably priced and I would definitely buy this product again, especially during the colder season.

Pros:

  • My skin felt really hydrated and supple throughout the day with this Weleda product.
  • Light and easily absorbed.
  • Keep clean nozzle.

Cons:

· Scent is initially strong but this disappears quickly

Green People Organic Aloe Vera Shower Bath

Review of Green People Organic Aloe Vera Shower Bath

By Hayley McW.

Packaging: The Green People Organic Aloe Vera Shower Bath comes in a cute white tube with small black writing. Perfect for a weekend away, festival goers and gym kits. The sample was 30ml however this product is concentrated so apparently is the equivalent of 90-120ml of conventional shower gels.

Application: Easy squeezy onto a shower puff worked well. This Green People Aloe Vera Shower Gel is a clear gel that foams up easily into lots of small bubbles. Feels light and natural to use, with a gentle fragrance free formula- however to me it felt showering with fairy liquid as I prefer creamier shower products. This product is free from parabens, colourants, lauryl sulphate , alcohol and synthetic preservatives. It is also supported by the vegan society, and certified organic.

Ingredients: *Aloe barbadensis, Decyl glucoside , Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Cocamoniumcarbamyolchloride, *Lavandula angustifolia, *Olea europaea , *Linalool (from essential oil). *Organically grown
