Inika Mineral Eye Shadow Review

Reviews of Inika Mineral Eye Shadow
By Debra S.
Packaging:Inika Mineral Eye Shadow is simply contained in a clear plastic jar with a blacklid. The product name is printed in gold on the lid top. The clearplastic label on the bottom contains the basic information.

Application:There is a plastic sprinkle lid inside with holes in it topped with apull off label. As my nails are short, it was difficult to pull off this label. I use a brush for eye shadow, so I found it irritating touse, as I had to pull off the sprinkle lid too to dip my brush inside, which scattered powder.I needed to dip my brush twice into the powder to apply to the wholeof each eye. It went on evenly and looked the same colour as the colour in the jar.
Ingredients:The Inika website was easy to find and contained lots of information and looked fairly interesting. I noticed the shade was a different colouron the web, but that was to be expected. They talk of the purity ofthe ingredients and say they are organic.

Results:This gorgeous pale pink-brown coloured powder of Lychee 18 has a velvet softtexture. Although it went on evenly, it soon became patchy and fadedfast. I tried re-applying it, but the results were the same. Despitetrying it every day for a week, the results were disappointing, asthey were always the same. There were no allergic reactions though.

Pros:Gorgeous colourNo allergies

Cons:· Found the design fiddly to handle and apply· Need to apply a lot of powder to cover eyes· Colour was patchy· Colour faded fast.

Inika Mineral Eyeshadow Reviews

Review of Inika Mineral Eyeshadow
By Gillian L.

PACKAGING - Inika Mineral Eyeshadow comes in a small, plastic,
screw topped pot. The tub is clear on top and at the sides, so you
can easily see which shade you are using. The pot is enclosed in a
box and all materials are recyclable.

APPLICATION -All of the twenty shades of eyeshadow are multipurpose
and can be applied wet or dry and used as eyeshadow , highlighter ,
blusher and eyeliner ,depending on the shade. To apply the eyeshadow
dry it is best to use a brush (not supplied with tester ) -pick up a
little, tap off excess and apply as desired. It can also be mixed
with a little water ,but this I found messy and fiddly: It may be
easier with a sponge applicator.

INGREDIENTS - Inika Mineral Eyeshadow are made of 100% pure minerals and
are a fine blend of mica and iron ,tin and zinc oxides ,naturally
sourced from Australia. They are certified vegan, organic and cruelty
free and free from all toxic chemicals used in conventional make up.
The pigments are rich in beautiful colour -the coffee cream is a
sparkling medium brown shade.

RESULTS - I absolutely loved this Inika Mineral Eyeshadow! The shade is beautiful
,with just a hint of a sparkle. It lasted all day long with no need
to reapply and no irritation of my sensitive skin -I have previously
worn very little eye make up due to irritation and allergies to
chemicals ,so I will most definitely be stocking up on Inika products.
Used wet it would also be suitable for contact lens wearers. The
twenty shades offer a huge range, unlike other ranges of natural
cosmetics.

PROS - The pure, organic and cruelty free ingredients make it
suitable for the most sensitive of skins as well as those who want
ethically sound products.

- excellent range of shades ,some which are just gorgeous

- multipurpose and good value

CONS - The small tub made it tricky to apply and some powder was always lost.

- difficult to apply wet unless you have all the proper
make up tools -applicators, sponges
